Good morning guys!! How are you?
Were you able to create the weather data graphs? Can't wait to see everything you are creating and doing these days. Keep working hard.

We are going to do something you were not expecting today. We are going to create a company. Before we left school, we were about to study "where people work?". I need you to read the unit to understand what we are talking about. 
When we are kids, we don't think about the process that it takes to put a product into the supermarket. We simply think that they are there by magic. That is the reason why I need you to stop here and have a look at page 72 of your text book. Read it carefully. 
Have you finished? Good. Now you realize that the orange juice 🍊 you buy at the supermarket is not there by magic. It takes a long road to get there: 

• First, the farmer grow the orange trees 🍊🌲. They look after their trees with passion. (primary sector: workers obtain resources from nature)
• Once they are ready, the farmers collect the oranges, select them and transport them to the factory 🚚.
• In factories, they extract the juice and place it into bottles or bricks (and, the worst part and nobody knows, they add sugar and other things to obtain more benefit 😤. Not good people, not good). (secondary sector: workers transform raw materials into manufactured products)
• When they are finished, the transport company comes again to the factory, but this time to take them to the supermarkets and shops. 
• The last step of this production process is when the product is ready to sell. (tertiary sector: also called, service sector. Provides people a service). 

Activity:

Now that we know the process it takes a product until it can be sold, let's create US a company. 

1. Firstly, you need to think about what your company is going to create and sell.
2. The second thing I want you to do it's taking a paper and do some "brainstorming" for the image and name of the company. What is brainstorming? Translated into Spanish we would say it's "lluvia de ideas". Do not keep the first one that comes to mind. Generate a few sketches for the image and think about a couple of names. 
3. Think about all the stages of the process that it takes your product to reach the supermarket or shops. You can draw them. Then label each stage (primary, secondary or tertiary).

IMPORTANT!!!! 

This is not an activity you can do in 1 hour. It takes time, so please, be patient and do it with calm, thinking about all the processes.
